MEET LAUREN
About Lauren Constantini, LMHC

"Less adherence to what's expected.
More alignment with what's true for you."
I help individuals and couples move beyond the beliefs and expectations they inherited — so they can build lives and relationships that feel genuinely their own. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in curiosity, creating space to understand what's happening beneath the surface and make meaningful change.
Whether you're navigating a relationship that feels stuck, carrying expectations that were never really yours, or simply sensing that something important is out of alignment, therapy can offer a place to slow down and understand what's really going on — and begin making choices that feel more intentional and true to you.

HER STORY
My own self-discovery led me here.
I came to this work after a major life transition — a moment that stopped me in my tracks and made me ask the kinds of questions I hadn't let myself ask before. What was I actually here to do? What felt meaningful? Was the life I was living the one I had consciously chosen, or the one I had simply fallen into?
Sitting with those questions — really sitting with them — changed everything. That experience is part of what I bring into every session. I understand what it feels like to be in the middle of something you can't fully name yet — the strange mix of clarity and confusion that can come when you begin to recognize that something in your life needs to change.
Before becoming a therapist, I built a career in hospitality — an industry that taught me a great deal about people, environments, and the subtle art of genuine care. That background shapes the way I work today: creating spaces where people feel at ease, respected, and ready to do the deeper work.
"The work isn't about fixing — it's about understanding what's actually going on and deciding from that place what direction you want to move."
HOW I WORK
Grounded in curiosity,
perspective, and conscious change.
Philosophy
Most of us are living by rules we didn't write — beliefs absorbed from family, culture, and society. My work begins there: helping you understand where you came from so you can make conscious choices about the person you're becoming.
We can't choose what we inherit, but we can choose what we carry forward. That awareness is where conscious living begins.
Approach
I'm both a deep listener and an active participant. I'll reflect what I hear, gently challenge thoughts and beliefs when it feels useful, and help you identify patterns — because honest, caring engagement can be a catalyst for real change.
My approach is integrative — drawing from multiple frameworks and adapting to what each person needs most.
Who I Work With
Every client brings a different story — but many share a common thread. Something feels off. They're managing, moving forward, showing up. Yet beneath the surface, something important feels out of alignment.
Whether navigating relationships, family dynamics, life transitions, or a quiet sense that there's a more fulfilling way to live — this is exactly the kind of work we do together.

On Trust & the Process
One thread that runs through my work is trust — in the process, in timing, and in the understanding that not everything is within our control. Clarity often comes from action, not certainty. Most of us wait until we feel ready to start therapy — but readiness isn't often a feeling. It's a decision.
If you're here, something brought you. That's usually enough to begin.
